Who We Treat
Physiotherapists are primary contact practitioners and therefore, a doctors referral in most instances is not required. In certain circumstances we may recommend you see your doctor before treatment commences.
- Private Patients – On the spot Health Fund Claims via our Hicaps Facility.
- Babies, Children and Adolescents – Individualised and caring Physiotherapy for Children of all ages and abilities.
- National Disability Insurance Scheme – The Physio Clinic Great Lakes provide services to all NDIS participants, whether self managed, plan managed or NDIA managed we can assist you reach your goals.
- DVA – The Physio Clinic Great Lakes is a DVA approved provider and requires a Doctors Referral (D904) to provide treatment.
- Injured Workers – The Physio Clinic Great Lakes is a WorkCover approved practice able to provide treatment for injuries that have occurred at your workplace. We liaise with your doctor, case manager and return to work officer to manage a smooth return to pre-injury duties.
- Medicare – Some people may qualify for limited treatment under Medicare. This requires a specific referral as part of an Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) program that must be initiated by your GP.
- Home Visits – If you are unable to get to our clinic treatment can be arranged in your home.
